Hysteric offers a visual representation of his name through the sounds of Hip Hop. His style intertwines wild emotions and reactions with comical exaggerations. As a Computer Science graduate from Wayne State University, he encourages the youth to be multi-faceted. Based out of Detroit, MI, Hysteric is recognized as a pioneer in the underground scene through his event planning, lyricism and dedication.

His most memorable piece of work to date is his 2018 effort “Bedsheets 2”. Due to lack of access to production, he created a mixtape consisting completely of ‘covers’. Bedsheets 2 featured some of Detroit’s best underground talent and is considered a highlight in the scene. Hysteric followed the tape up with his own listening party—one orchestrated by himself — and managed to have over 40 people in attendance! In December, he organized a Christmas themed showcase by the name of “Gift Rapping”. The showcase was memorable, different, whimsical and had 50+ people in attendance.

In 2019, popular venues and event began to reach out to Hysteric for performances! Foot Locker’s “Imported From the D”, POISE Fashion Show, Charles H. Wright museum, and Wixtopia are just a few to name.

Spring/Summer 2019 was also an exciting time for Hysteric as he competed for 10 weeks to become a member of HOT 107.5’s Friday Night Cypher “Core” group. During those 10 weeks Hysteric participated in battle raps against more than 100 artists; he placed first place 9 out of 10 weeks. Since his admission into the Core he has been recognized by large industry names such as Zaytoven, Snapp Dogg, Icewear Vezzo, DJ BJ and more.

Hysteric is slated to release his debut album “The Last Balloon” October 4th. While announcing the project, he organized a listening party. To his surprise, he filled all 60 RSVP spaces in less than 24 hours! It became an experience that required attendance to be understood due to its organic feel, insightful Q&A session and unique aesthetic. The Last Balloon project has an eclectic sound that is unique to listener’s ears.
